Hi, I’m Leo!
I build things at the intersection of audio, physics, sports, and games, with a bias toward making ideas usable. My background is in audio DSP, but my work and interests also stretch into radiation physics, machine learning, rugby analytics and coaching, and music.
Interests
I like projects that sit somewhere between research and creative experimentation. I specialize in making complex technical workflows more usable and maintainable. I also coach, play rugby, and write songs!
Portfolio
Most of my technical portfolio revolves around audio DSP: sound decomposition, pitch processing, speech enhancement. Alongside that, I build practical tools while exploring AI and radiation physics.

ALC - Adaptive Loudness Compensation
A first-order filter for loudness compensation derived from the standard equal-loudness-level contours. Great bass at low dBs.

Transhaker
A JUCE-based tool that generates variations of transient sounds. I had game audio in mind when doing this!

There is no Leo without rugby. It shapes how I think about leadership, preparation, commitment, and how to get up and keep going after every hit or mistake.
I started with Rugby Fiumicello when I was six, I did U18s with Rugby Calvisano, and then six years with Rugby Brescia before moving to Finland in 2019. I currently play for Helsinki Rugby Club: with HRC, I have won 3 championships as a player and 2 championships as coach of the women’s team. I am also the current Head Coach of the Finland Women’s National Team.
I currently hold a World Rugby Coaching L2 certification.
